Description: Rare Syracuse Stars baseball team photograph c.1879. Sepia toned photo remains on the original 9.75"x11.5" mount which has toning/discoloration and wear/chipping to edges. The matting which surrounded the image on front has since fallen off but a small slip of paper which was long affixed with a handwritten "Syracuse Stars 1879" identifier is included.
