Description: Philadelphia Phillies "Centennial Team & Greatest Player" bronze as hung in Veterans Stadium c.1983. Substantive bronze plaque as hung in Veterans Stadium as part of their (200) level concourse "Wall of Fame." Titled "Centennial Team & Greatest Players", it lists those selected by fans as being the best at their respective positions incl. Schmidt, Ashburn, McGraw, Roberts, and Carlton. Further noted at the bottom is "Greatest Player Mike Schmidt." In the center is the Phillies 1983 Centennial season logo. The piece measures 15.5"x26" and displays an even patina with a touch of light wear. Some spotting/discoloration at edges is expected given that it remained in place through many seasons during which the surrounding area would have been repainted at least a few times.
