Description: Scarce Lefty Grove professional model baseball bat attributed to the 1931 World Series. L.Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 37oz. exhibiting strong usage wear incl. handle residue, cracking at centerbrand area, and ball markings on the barrel. Stampings remain very bold incl. Powerized Pat. Pend and Grove facs. signature. Incredibly rare bat is one of only two known Grove examples and according to Hillerich & Bradsby factory records was sent on 9-22-31 in a shipment marked "World Series". Grove dominated the league during his 17 year tenure leading the AL in ERA nine times during his career and earning 20 victories or more for six consecutive seasons from 1927-33.
