Description: 1951 New York Giants presentational box to sportswrister Carl Lundquist (GD/VG) Leather wrapped box has Giants team photo print on what appears to be tile set within the lid. The underside (visible when box is opened) has the Giants team logo along with the year "1951." The name "Carl Lundquist" is on lower front corner in impressed gold lettering. Wear throughout includes spotting/discoloration and some pitting and scuffs/scrapes to the leather. A felt pad applied to the bottom looks to have been falling off and it was secured in place with several pieces of tape which would likely cause damage if removed. One of only a handful of these pieces which we have seen. Includes certificate of provenance from Ed Stack: GD/VG ($300-$500)Final Bid: $216.00
