Description: 1922 New York Giants World Series presentational ring - sterling silver secondary issue (EX) Sterling silver secondary issue of the classic 14K gold ring as issued to members of the Giants Championship team which were commissioned as presentational gifts. The ring dÇcor is nearly identical to the original Giants World Series rings only fashioned in silver with inset emerald stone at top rather than the traditional diamond. General light surface wear is evident throughout. A similar silver presentation ring originated from a family acquaintance of Frank Frisch and was corroborated as a commissioned replica as well. It is our consignors recollection that this ring originated from the Barry Halper Collection and at the time of it's offer in that sale it was noted that it originated from a friend of the Frisch family: EX ($1,500-$2,500)Final Bid: DNS
