Description: 1978 San Diego Padres professional model/quality home jersey (EX) White knit jersey has "Padres" team name across the front above the number "48." Number also appears on back below the outline of a removed nameplate. "Medalist Sand Knit" tag on front tail notes size (44) and there is a "76" printed year tag. Use and some general age related wear/soiling throughout. Note - An additional "Designed & Tailored" tag which should be on the front tail is not present (though this may have fallen off as these were heat applied/glued and not stitched) and there is no evidence that the 1976 patch was ever on shoulder. This number was issued to Dan Spillner whom played in just (17) games for San Diego that year and it possible that this jersey was not used at that time but issued to someone else for Spring Training the following year: EX ($300-$500)Final Bid: $220.00
