Description: Very rare 1909-11 T206 Jap Barbeau autographed card (SGC "A") Original T206 card has been signed on the front in ink rating 7/8 out of 10. Card itself has mild corner/edge wear and chipping and some creases. There are areas of paper loss on the back. Barbeau died in 1969 in the infancy of organized through the mail autograph collecting and this represents the first example of a Barbeau signed T206 we can ever recall coming to auction. There are images of a Barbeau signed card from the "Pittsburgh Find" of signed T206 cards however the whereabouts and/or authenticity of this card are unknown: SGC "A" ($1,000-$3,000)Final Bid: $1,064.00
