Description: 1938 "Churchman's Cigarette Cards" store display with (25) Boxing Personalities cards incl. Joe Louis (see description) Period 12.5"x25" wooden frame holds a promotional display issued by WA & AC Churchman which has (25) cards affixed incl. Joe Louis, Gene Tunney, and Max Schmelling. The piece offers fine display qualities however there is visible staining to areas throughout (effecting both cards and poster -Louis and Schmelling cards are not effected) and some more notable moisture damage along the lower portion.
