Description: Paul Waner professional model baseball bat c.1946-48 - post career Coaching era (EX) Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Waner facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 34" long and weighs 33.6oz. Model number "W45" has been factory stamped in the knob. Strong evident use with grain swelling to to back of the hitting surface and a handle crack. It appears that the crack was secured in place and there is a generous amount of white tape applied over it. Very nice example for display dating to just after Waner's retirement and noted as (1) of (9) W45 models which is listed as produced in 1947 and 1948: EX ($400-$600)Final Bid: $215.00
