Players listing reads as a Whos Who in 19th century baseball incl. King Kelly, John Clarkson, Hoss Radbourn, Dan Brouthers, and Billy Nash. Image itself retains excellent contrast and clarity with one area of age toning upper center portion, mount is fairly clean but has been cut down at the bottom which is evidenced by a partial script title of The Boston Base Ball Club and the photographers stamp which we attribute to G.Waldon Smith of Boston. Rare Vince DiMaggio game worn 1944 Pittsburgh Pirates home uniform. Cream color flannel jersey and pants with red and blue trim, jersey is zipper front with proper Goldsmith tag in collar and DiMaggio 44 chain stitched in tail. Shirt is fairly clean with only very light age toning, zipper handle is missing but still works. Pants have no mfg. tag with V.DiMaggio chain stitched on applied patch in waist and exhibit light overall wear. Lot also includes a period black leather belt presumably DiMaggios as well. Vince was the oldest of the three DiMaggio brothers and played in the Major Leagues for 10 years.
