Ruth signature resides on the sweet rating 8 out of 10 and Gehrig is positioned on the adjacent side panel rating 8/9 out of 10. The ball was consigned by the daughter of the original recipient who carefully preserved the baseball within its original box (included) allowing the signatures to remain in such fine condition. The ball was obtained directly from Lou Gehrig while he and Joe Grabiner (relative of White Sox secretary Harry Grabiner) were visiting the family farm in Dumont Lake, MI. Ruth and Gehrig signed baseballs of quality that have not been previously offered are increasingly rare with the offered example among the finest that we have handled.
