Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long with professional model bat stampings. (35") is stamped on the end of the knob. Babe Ruth has signed the bat just to the right of the Louisville oval in black fountain pen, "Babe Ruth 1926". The signature has remained in a nearly flawless state of preservation rating 9/9.5 out of 10. The bat itself is nearly as issued with a fine original light brown surface remaining unused with only a minute indentation at the end of the barrel and a few minor surface blemishes mentioned for accuracy only. The bat originated from the estate of a New Jersey family that had originally received it as a contest prize back in 1926. In comparison to high grade Babe Ruth signed baseballs, Ruth autographed bats are exceedingly rare.
