| Description: Fine Babe Ruth single signed baseball bat c.1933. Louisville Slugger model 40 BR bat measuring 34" and retaining majority of its' original brown walnut finish with only a few areas of minor wear in secondary portions of the bat. On the back side of the barrel a 2"x4" area of the suface finish has been removed to allow for a splendid 3" long black fountain pen signature of Babe Ruth. Signature rates 8/9 out of 10 with only an area of contrast around the top loop in the "B" in Babe which was certainly original to the autograph. High grade Ruth autograph bats are simply becoming a challenge to locate and the offered example if among the best that we've handled.
