| Description: Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig auto. envelope c.1927. Cream color envelope with Berkeley-Carteret return address signed on back by Ruth and Gehrig in green fountain pen. Each signature remains bold rating 9 out of 10 with Ruth having a slight ink imperfection on the "B" in Babe. On the front of the envelope is a purple time clock stamp dated Oct. 13, 1927 which was only five days after the Yankees had completed their sweep of the Pirates in the 1927 World Series.
