| Description: Rare 1921 NY Giants World Champions Award pendant. Beautifully crafted award given to Fred Toney for the 1921 Championship victory over the NY Yankees by 5 games to 3. Body consists of 14K gold weighing one ounce and displaying an inset 1/2 karat diamond, stamped on back by Dieges & Clust. Toney is most noted for pitching one half of back to back no hit games on May 2,1917 while playing for the Cincinnati Reds. Award was obtained directly from Toney’s son and is being offered for the first time publicly, accompanied by a letter of provenance from Toney’s son: NM |
