| Description: A.G. Spalding Bros. baseball uniform order sheet c.1890s. Large 11"14" printed order form from A.G. Spalding Bros. was distributed to Ed Boyle to order his St. Paul Saints uniform. The sheet features several baseball illustration samples at the top right including three players. The sheet has separated at its center fold line and has some light tape residue. Boyle's name is written in period ink at the bottom which may in fact be his autograph. Includes letter of provenance from the Boyle family: VG-EX (with note to separation) |
