| Description: Scarce Joe DiMaggio Hillerich & Bradsby advertising display piece c.1940. Believed to be one of only approx. (5) known exemplars, the offered display piece was issued around 1940 prior to the more commonly seen set of four Hillerich & Bradsby signs from the late 1940s era. The cardboard display measures 16"x21" matted and framed depicting a caricature image of DiMaggio at the center with several cartoon scenes surrounding. Colors remain rich and vibrant with a few areas of surface toning from age along with a few relatively minor surface creases at the bottom right area.
