Description: Negro League baseball broadside featuring the Cleveland Tigers c.1928. Original 9"x12" paper broadside advertises two weeks of baseball to open the season for 1928. The top billing was for a game played between the St. Louis Grays and the Cleveland Tigers. The Tigers were a one year franchise organized by former star player Frank Duncan in 1928. The poster pictures Cleveland pitcher Jim Turner. The second game advertised on the poster was between the House of David team and the Detroit Brown Bombers picturing a House of David player.
