Wilson Official League ball is signed by (25) including Fred Haney, Irv Noren (MVP), Jo Jo White, Jack Salveson, Jim Baxes, Gene Handley, Pinky Woods, Will Ramsdell, Pluto Oliver and John Fitzpatrick. Signatures average 7 out of 10. Ball is off-white with minimal wear and a few small spots of toning. Accompanying the ball is a 12"x13" piece of original newspaper art by artist Hubenthal. Rendering includes imagery and text pertaining to the Stars' pursuit of the pennant in 1949. Signed by the artist and dated Sept. 6, 1949.
