Black finished bat shows excellent use incl. ball marks, rack marks, stitch impressions, tar stick remnants and a significant handle crack repaired by tape. Model number C271 is stamped on the barrel along with Garciaparra's name and "Boston Red Sox" in block letters. Nomar's uniform number "5" is written on the knob end in gold marker.
