| Description: Russell Washington San Diego Chargers professional model jersey c.1968-72. Blue durene style jersey retains its original #70 on front, back and both sleeves with lightning bolt patches on both shoulder areas. "Washington" nameplate remains affixed to the reverse. Sand Knit and "Exclusive for the San Diego Chargersö tagging are found on the tail front. The jersey exhibits excellent use including period team repairs, a few small "pulls," game soiling, and wash wear. Washington was an excellent player for the Chargers for a number of years and was inducted into the team Hall of Fame.
