| Description: Honus Wagner 1912 handwritten postcard from Wagner’s estate. Honus Wagner sent this postcard from South Bend, Indiana to his future wife Bessie Smith in 1912 while on a roadtrip with the Pirates. He writes, “Hello M (nickname). We are playing an exhibition game here today and it certainly is a swell little city.” He has signed it “With best wishes, Jay.” It is written and addressed entirely in Wagner’s hand. This postcard originates from the Honus Wagner estate and is accompanied by a copy of a letter of provenance from Wagner’s granddaughter. Includes LOAs from PSA/DNA and JSA.
