Original matted and framed 6 3/4”x9 1/2” black and white image shows the prolific "Murderer’s Row" Yankees team posing on the field in home pinstriped uniforms. Extraordinary clarity and contrast gives the sense of peering through a window of time. Marked “Cosmo Foto-Ser. N.Y. 1926” on the lower right corner. Size notation and name “Collins” are written in pencil on back. Minor paper/tape residue on back from scrapbook removal. Front appears EX-MT. Includes letter of provenance from the Collins family. |
