| Description: Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx, and Connie Mack real photographic postcard by Charles Conlon c.1933. Rare and uncommon medium depicting a matte finish original image of the three Hall of Fame members standing on the field. The postcard back is unused with a period pencil notation, "Charles Martin Conlon News Photo" which is not in Conlon's hand. The top margin of the card has been trimmed and there is a small pinhole near the top edge. Image quality is very fine. This represents the first real photographic postcard by Conlon that we have handled: VG |
