| Description: Johnny Evers auto. cut signature. 2 ½”x4 ¼” section of lined paper inscribed “Certainly, John J. ‘Johnny’ Evers ‘Tinker to Evers to Chance’ June 12, 1935”. Black fountain pen writing rates 8-9 out of 10. The piece has been affixed to a more rigid paper backing. Tape remnants appear on the left edge, not affecting the signature itself. Ideal example of a scarce signature given the desirable “Tinker to Evers to Chance” notation. Evers died in 1947. Includes LOA from JSA: EX
