| Description: Thurman Munson's New York Yankees baseball equipment travel case c.1970s. Vintage heavy gauge fiberboard and leather case used by Munson to house his equipment while travelling with the New York Yankees. Handled case measures 20" tall and 28" long retaining a fine original surface with aged patination. "NY" logo is found on both side panels with a "15" in white numerals on the top for Munson's uniform number. Includes letter of provenance from Diana Munson: VG-EX |
