| Description: Rare set of 1887 W.S. Kimball Champions N184 baseball cards. Total of four baseball cards issued with the Kimball's sports tobacco card set in 1887. Includes James O'Neil, Hardie Henderson, Dell Darling, and E.A. Burch. The Darling card has a horizontal crease across the bottom third of the card. The other three cards remain in outstanding condition with vibrant original color and four fairly sharp to sharp corners. All four of the cards have varying degrees of adhesive residue with slight paper loss on the reverse which accounts for the technical condition grade. The card fronts remain in EX-NM condition. With note to the back adhesive residue, the offered group are the finest condition exemplars of this very tough and obscure set that we have encountered: Range SGC 1.5 FR to SGC 30 GD |
