Description: Rare "Goodwin Tobacco Base Ball Album: Champions 1888". Seldom offered complete "round" album, as commonly referred to in the hobby, features beautiful Victorian color lithographic pages depicting the star baseball players of the day, including Keefe, Welch, Ward, Anson, Connor, Comiskey, Kelly, Mutrie, and Ewing. Album contains a total of (10) interior pages, each measuring 8" in diameter, and (1) of the two original ball shaped covers. General condition is fairly good with the majority of wear occurring along the left border where the pages would have been originally string bound (missing). The chips and areas of loss to this part of each page vary from a small chip to a 1/2"x3" loss. The one cover piece that is present has some damage to the edges. The color lithography remains vibrant and bold with no restoration. Rarely offered early baseball related tobacco piece presented within the hobby for the first time: Range VG-EX
