Sepia tone 8"x10" studio portrait signed by Gehrig at the lower right corner, "To Marion-The real 'prince' among all good fellows-Sincerely Lou Gehrig". Signature and salutation present beautifully against the light colored background rating 9/10 out of 10 with just a hint of original ink 'feathering' in a few places. The photo itself has only some very minor wear to the edges and is stamped New York Times Studios on the reverse. Offered for the first time by the family of the original recipient.
