| Description: Bruce Edwards game used catcher's mitt c.1940s. Rawlings RHT Bruce Edwards model catcher's mitt as worn by Edwards while a member of the 1940s Brooklyn Dodgers. The glove show heavy use including a 1" hole to the interior pocket area. Period stenciled "10" uniform number is on the back along with a period ink "10" denoting Edwards uniform number. Edwards was a key figure in the Dodgers mid to late 1940s NL Championships finishing fourth in the voting for the NL MVP award in 1947. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions, Inc: VG |
