| Description: Scarce 1913 Boston Garter Ed Konetchy. Superb exemplar discovered with the other two Boston Garter cards offered within this auction (Lots 459 & 460). The card is well centered exhibiting brilliant original color and remaining free of creasing. The corners show light even wear with two minute 'dings' at the top left and right. Printed back is nearly pristine showing virtually no wear while retaining bold original contrast. Along with the other two Boston Garters, the offered example is one of the finest condition examples of this impossibly rare issue to have ever surfaced within the marketplace. Aside from the light corner wear, the card literally remains in NM condition. Outstanding rarity which is almost assuredly the finest condition exemplar of Konetchy extant: SGC 50 VG/EX |
