| Description: Phil Cavaretta professional model baseball bat c.1934. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 34 3/4" long and weighs 34.2oz. Dating to Cavaretta's rookie era, the bat retains its original mfg. stampings and "Cavaretta" block letter last name on the barrel end. Handle has a professionally repaired crack and the finish has been resurfaced in a few areas. Cavaretta was a fine player with a lifetime batting average of .293 and was the 1945 National League MVP.
