| Description: 1952 "The Winning Team" marquis banner. Large 26"x158" original marquis banner advertising the premier of the famed baseball motion picture "The Winning Team" starring Ronald Reagan and Doris Day. The movie was about the life of troubled Hall of Fame pitcher G.C. Alexander and was one of the more popular baseball themed movies of its era. Reddish pink satin banner remains in original condition with some general surface wear incl. a few small slits and areas of minor scuffing. The far left end of the banner has a 7" tear which remains complete and could be restored if so desired. "Tivoli Now" lettering appears at the bottom right corner indicating its premier at the legendary Tivoli Theatre in St. Louis.
