| Description: Mission Oak baseball carved display piece c.1910. Original hand carved Mission Oak style panel with a full baseball game scene was taken from a period settee bench. Subtle detail is visible throughout the piece including grandstands, picket fence, and even a cow in the background. 9"x38" retaining its original surface with color tinted grass and trees. This carving is known to exist in its original form as part of a three piece parlor suite believed to have been manufactured in the New York area around 1910.
