| Description: Joe Wood presentational pocket watch c.1910. E.Howard Watch Co. gold pocket watch presented to Smoky Joe Wood by his mother on October 25, 1910. Exterior casing opens on both sides with "W" monogram on the front. One of the interior panels reveals an inscription, "Joe Wood From Mother 10-25-10" along with "E.Howard Watch Co. Boston" in raised lettering around the perimeter. The watch itself is of the highest quality for the period and remains in running order. Includes letter of provenance from the Wood family: EX-MT |
