| Description: Fine Babe Ruth autographed color photograph c.1933. Vibrant color image of Ruth planting a tree in Hawaii during a barnstorming tour in 1933. Ruth has signed the photo in very bold black fountain pen rating a 10 out of 10. The photo originated from Hawaii and has been in the original family since its signing, and the tree is believed to be still standing outside of a hotel in Honolulu today. Includes xerox copies of news articles and the like relating to Ruth's trip to Hawaii. There are only a handful of original Ruth color photographs in existence, and of these, we know of only one other that is signed. Includes LOA from James Spence Authentication: NM-MT |
