Mantle signature is positioned on the sweet spot and rates 8/9 out of 10. Maris has signed at the bottom of the adjoining side panel and rates 7 out of 10. The ball itself remains very clean with some very minor surface wear to a few areas mentioned only for accuracy. Playing career signed Mantle and Maris baseballs are notably scarce with the offered example originating from the collection of a former Major League player.
