| Description: 1982 Mike Schmidt Phila. Phillies road jersey. Classic powder blue knit shirt with original "P" and "20" on front. Reverse has Schmidt nameplate above #20. "Schmidt" is chain stitched on strip tag inside collar with Wilson tag and "82 2" strip tag remaining on the tail front. The shirt exhibits fine use incl. wash wear and appropriate surface wear. Schmidt has signed the front in blue sharpie: EX-MT. The lot also includes a pair of matching Mike Schmidt Phillies road pants. Pants have "Schmidt 82 2 25" chain stitched strip tag inside the waistband along with a Wilson mfg. tag. While there is no evidence of tampering, the tag style dates to 1978: EX. Fine Schmidt jersey dating to the prime of his HOF career after two consecutive NL MVP seasons in 1980 and 1981. Includes LOA from MEARS/David Bushing with a grade of A10 for the jersey (pants not graded) and LOA from James Spence Authenticated (signature). |
