The bat exhibits tremendous use incl. dozens of ball marks, stitching impressions, rack marks, and heavy pine tar residue. Knob end has impressed "6" along with 2006 dating stamp while the end of the barrel has "6" written in silver. Exceptional specimen from Howard's 2006 NL MVP season, which based on the usage characteristics, may have played a part in several of the 58 home runs he belted during the season.
