| Description: Fine set of (4) James "Deacon" White cabinet photographs c.1888. Very attractive original set of Allen & Ginter style cabinet photographs picturing White in various poses incl. batting and throwing. Each image is copyrighted by Goodwin & Co. with Fearnaught photographer, Indianapolis stamped on both front and back of the grey mounts. Overall condition is outstanding with perfect image quality and clean mounts (One mount has a small abrasion at the top of the back). Uncommon original set with provenance from the player himself.
