| Description: 1926 National League Golden Jubilee boxed baseball set. Cased set of two National League baseballs presented to White at the Feb. 2, 1926 NL 50th Anniversary banquet. Exterior casing has some surface flaking to the gilt covering and lt. wear to the lettering on the lid. The baseballs themselves have some light toning with one remaining unused and the other featuring (8) circular decal discs picturing the NL Presidents. The box lid appears to have been re-attached at some point. Includes letter of provenance from the White family: VG-EX |
