| Description: Unique Satchel Paige auto. real photo postcard c.1940s. Original sepia tone real photographic postcard picturing Paige in "Guayama" uniform is signed at the bottom, "To on of the Best Fans in the World, Satchell Paige". Signature rates 7 out of 10. The postcard itself has a minute corner crease and is postally unused. The postcard was originally obtained by a cousin of one of the Guayama team owners when she was a little girl. She developed a relationship with Paige who always called her "his best little fan". Very scarce vintage image of Paige signed in the period. Includes LOA from James Spence Authentication: EX-EX/MT |
