| Description: Lot of (2) vintage Joe DiMaggio California Sporting Licenses to include 1970 hunting license and 1969 fishing license. 1970 hunting license was issued to DiMaggio on 10/20/1970 for hunting in the State of California. Thin stock cardboard license is signed by DiMaggio on the top portion and again on the bird hunting stamp affixed to the bottom. Reverse of the license features a paragraph written by then California Governor Ronald Reagan. The license has a horizontal fold line; signatures rate 8/9 out of 10: License: VG-EX, Signatures: NM. 1969 fishing license was issued to DiMaggio on Feb. 19, 1969 for fishing in the state of California. Card stock license is hand addressed and signed by DiMaggio on the front in blue ink. License shows typical wear; signature rates 8/9 out of 10: License: VG-EX, Signature: NM. Includes LOA from James Spence Authentication and letter of provenance from the DiMaggio family. |
