| Description: 1951 Fred Fitzsimmons New York Giants road uniform. Grey flannel uniform worn by New York Giants coach Fred Fitzsimmons during the 1951 season. Jersey retains its original "New York" lettering on the front and #6 on the back. MacGregor-Goldsmith tag remains inside the collar along with "Fitzsimmons" chain stitched strip tag. "Set 2 1951" flag tag is affixed inside the tail front. Matching pants are identically tagged within the interior waistband. The condition remains very clean overall with some light soiling. Although the jersey bears no evidence of ever having the NL glove shaped patch on its left sleeve, the 1951 National League uniforms did have a patch on that sleeve.
