| Description: Exceptional 1937 Joe DiMaggio auto. photograph. Breathtaking original sepia tone 7"x9" image of a young Joe DiMaggio posed in Yankee home uniform with a bat is signed in blue fountain pen. Pristine inscription reads, รด To my loving niece Betty Kron may you always be the same lovable girl, as you are. With best wishes from your Uncle J. DiMaggio 4/14/37". The signature and salutation rate 10 out of 10 remaining in as signed condition. Photo itself exhibits flawless clarity and contrast with only a small tear on the right edge that does intersect with the salutation. The tear has a tape repair on the reverse. The offered DiMaggio signed photograph is the earliest example that we have encountered dating to Spring Training in 1937. Very likely the finest Joe DiMaggio vintage signed photograph in existence.
