| Description: Pair of Joe DiMaggio presentational baseball cleats c.1951. Brass plated cleats are inscribed on the front toe area of the right shoe, "To Joe DiMaggio presented by the Shoe Division of the U.J.A. May 24, 1951 Hotel Roosevelt". Spalding manufacturer's markings are visible under the plating and the interior areas clearly exhibit game usage. The offered cleats were almost certainly worn by Joe DiMaggio as these types of presentational items are typically game items given to the presenter for plating and then presented to the player.
