| Description: Joe DiMaggio New York Yankees undershirt c.1940s. Original cotton undershirt worn by DiMaggio features "DiMag" written twice in period ink on the back along with "5". Front retains its original Wilson tag inside the collar and has blue sleeves with a cream color body. The shirt exhibits evident use incl. some soiling, wash wear to the tagging and around the sleeves where the colors intersect. Discovered along with several other pieces of equipment within Joe DiMaggio's Yankees equipment trunk (see Lot 952).
