Exceptional quality sterling silver octagonal platter is inscribed in the center, "Presented to Joe DiMaggio 'The Yankee Clipper' On the Occasion of his 70th birthday with Congratulations and Deep Gratitude from the New York Yankees Nov. 25, 1984". The tray itself remains in clean overall condition with some very light surface wear. Cartier hallmark is stamped on the reverse along with the artist's signature and "sterling silver". 13 1/2" diameter.
