| Description: 1939 Joe DiMaggio World Series ring. 14K gold ring features spread eagle dTcor in relief on both side panels with "1939" in raised numerals. "New York Yankees World Champions" in raised lettering encircles a baseball diamond having an inset diamond of approx .25 carats. "D&C 14K" hallmarks are impressed on the interior band as they were on the original 1939 ring for Dieges & Clust. This ring is part of the replacement set issued to Joe by Mr. Steinbrenner and the New York Yankees after his original rings were stolen in the 1960s. Very high quality ring originally issued for the Yankees World Series victory over the Cincinnati Reds in which they swept the opposition for the second straight year: NM |
