| Description: Joe DiMaggio Japanese Old Timers Day uniform c.1970s. Full uniform as worn by Joe DiMaggio in an Old Timers Day game played in Japan. Includes green and orange knit jersey having "All America" lettering across the front with #5. Reverse features "J.DiMaggio" lettering above a large #5. Retains its original Mizuno tagging inside the collar with "5" written on a small white tag. Matching pants feature Mizuno logo on the front and also retain their proper interior tagging. The uniform also includes socks, hat, undershirt, and cleats all of which are made by Mizuno in matching color combinations. The uniform exhibits appropriate wear varying from light to moderate in different areas. The offered uniform was worn by DiMaggio during one of his many Oriental Tours at an Old Timers Day game. The uniform was found within a vintage shipping box postmarked 1978 with handwritten address from Yankees clubhouse manager Pete Sheehy to Joe DiMaggio.
